The SoCal Showdown is a USAT (United States Archery Team) ranking event that draws in the best archers from around the country.  By competing in USAT tournaments, archers can earn spots on the national USAT team.  So this is a great opportunity to see our nation’s best archers in action including many Olympians!  This year, the competition is also the team trials for the World Archery Youth World Championships!  The archers who make this team will be travelling internationally to compete with other young archers from around the world.

Last year, over 230 archers competed including both adults and youth.  To put on such a large event, the Roadrunner Archery Club, hosts of the competition, needs a  passionate group of volunteers.  By volunteering you will see the ins and outs of how a large archery competition is run, whether as a part of the field crew, scoring team, or more.
